Manchester’s holiday season is set to become even more magical with the return of its highly anticipated Winter Island event at Depot Mayfield. Located near Piccadilly Station, the event promises an unforgettable experience, combining festive street food, immersive light shows, and world-class entertainment.

Twilight Trail: A Dazzling Light Experience

Running from November 14 to December 31, the Twilight Trail will transform the 6.5-acre Mayfield Park into a twinkling wonderland. Featuring stunning visual installations, including mesmerizing light tunnels and a captivating Laser Garden, the trail promises a breathtaking journey through a world of lights and sounds. Guests can also look forward to the return of popular installations like the Rainbow Road and Disco Under The Bridges, all set to a vibrant musical backdrop provided by La Discothèque.

For those seeking a taste of Italy, Formaggi by Lazy Tony’s will offer loaded Roasties, Poutine, Italian-American Toasties, and deep-fried Mozzarella.

Adding to the festive spirit, German BBQ by Smoking Coal will serve bratwurst and other delights, while Seconds Christmas Carvery will offer a selection of prime meats every Sunday. The brand-new Cabin Chocolat will provide a sweet retreat with velvety hot chocolate topped with marshmallows and caramel. For a boozy twist, visitors can enjoy classic spiced drinks like mulled wine and cider at several festive bars across Winter Island.
