Why Cosy Joes is the Heart of Karaoke in Newcastle

When you think of karaoke in Newcastle, many people will be left thinking of the same place and that place is Cosy Joes. The Groat Market bar has had various celebs flocking to its top floor over the last few years, from United players Kieran Trippier and Matt Targett to comedian Jason Manford. Some of its karaoke stars even featured on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.

For years, Cosy Joes has been hosting its own talent search, crowning fantastic vocalists as winners. Their annual karaoke competition is making an exciting return for 2024, with heats beginning on Thursday, September 26.
